One of the hardest things we do in this business is to share news with our clients about work that’s needed on their rental properties. Over the last week I’ve been doing a turnover at one of my personal properties. Trust me it’s no cheaper to have the work done even when you’re the manager. It’s frustrating to let go of the money and pay for full painting, flooring and more but it’s the right thing to do. We’ve got a great tenant lined up to move in right away and I own the property so I’ll reap the rewards down the road. Keep focused on the long term my fellow investors. Math doesn’t lie.
